This illustration is inspired by early winter nights and Christmas time in New England. I wanted to have a night time scene with a lot of dark cool colors contrasted by a warm glow of light. I have a habit of drawing rabbits so I liked the idea of a rabbit looking upon a church hidden in the woods. There I could use the warm light of the stain glass windows and last bit of daylight for the warmth of these illustration.
