Oregon Here I Come
Hello I am back! This will be my last blog post from Texas :( I have a couple updates and some new prints!
First off I am moving in a week! But before I officially move I am doing two shows. First show in Kerrville Texas and then a show in Bend Oregon.
Update on my photo essay book, I was originally wanting to release it at the end of September but my idea for the book has grown and I have been busy packing to finish. So I’m looking at mid October.
As I mentioned earlier this is my last post from Texas, however in honor of my home and moving I will be dedicating a special post about saying goodbye to Texas and the landscape that lead me to discover a passion for art.
In honor of moving to Oregon I decided to do three block prints of some of my favorite landscapes I’ve seen. Multnomah Falls, Mt Hood, and South Sister. This was a fun collection of prints to make, they are all 5x7 and I really enjoyed seeing them grouped together in one frame. I decided to do different scenes of the day starting with dawn and South Sister, day time in Multnomah Falls, and Dusk at Mt Hood.
Lastly in my last show in Castle Rock, Co I was awarded 1st place in the printmaking category for the show! It was such an honor and I am truly thankful :] This first year has been a road of trials and a lot of ups and downs as I find my path and what works and doesn’t. I am glad I meet so many wonderful people and thank you for your support!
If you would like to follow my journey out to oregon you can follow me on Instagram! Thanks for your support and Ill be back soon in Portland :]
Bryan.
